So far so good!!!
After 4 days of a drastic change of my diet and just doing 20 minutes of walking everyday, the improvement of my diabetes battle continues. Today, my blood sugar level is at 100 and the target level is between 60-80. I am going to the right direction. I have not weighed myself just yet. I will wait at the end of the month to do that and really see the big difference. I woke up this morning feeling GREAT! No headaches or achy pains. I had my breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 slice of whole wheat bread, 1/3 cup of fresh blue berries and a cup of tea. I am now ready to go for a walk and what a beautiful, sunny day it is. SO FAR SO GOOD!

2- days later
My second day to accomplish my mission: I was not as depressed today as yesterday.
Today, I had a 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and broccoli with a pinch of cheese and garlic salt. No bread or coffee but I had a cup of green tea. For lunch, I had a bowl of Panera Bread's Thai chicken salad with a glass of water and 1/2 of the bread (no butter). For dinner, I had 1/3 cup of brown rice with a little of butter, a 1/2 of a cup of mixed Chinese vegetables and a glass of water. At 9:45 pm, I had a 1/3 cup of nut fruit mix. I checked my blood sugar and it is at 102. So far, my blood sugar came down from being 128 to 102. So far I am on the right track. I did not make my walk today, however, but tomorrow, I will be doing my 30 minute walk. My next thing to do is to plan my daily meals and snacks. My diabetes class will be on February 8th and I can hardly wait for this class. Tomorrow is another day, and I pray that I will have the will and power to keep going to the right direction.
